Moldovan Socialists, Communists submit simple motion against deputy premier

Chisinau, 1 March /MOLDPRES/- The faction of the Party of Socialists and the Communist Party faction today submitted a simple motion against Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Iurie Leanca. The MPs were dissatisfied with some statements by the official.

According to Communist MP Ina Supac, the document has been already signed by 26 lawmakers and is based on several reasons, including the conclusions about Moldova recently presented by the EU Council.

The Communists are blaming Leanca for a lot of statements that threaten the integrity of the state. “We are calling for Leanca to be dismissed from the post of Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration”, Supac said.

The motion, signed by the Socialists and Communists, was registered, and the parliament is to decide when it will be considered.
