Meteorologists forecast weather to warm up in Moldova

Chisinau, 02 March /MOLDPRES/ – The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) receded the Yellow Code of cold and announced warming of weather, isolated with snow, for upcoming days.
Despite the fact it is still early to talk about spring time, however, temperatures will increase by around 10ºC. As such, on weekend, it will be from – 02ºC to + 03ºC during the daytime. While at night, it will be coldest in the north, where thermometers will drop to – 15ºC. It will be a few degrees warmer in the centre and south.
On 05 March, the weather will gradually warm up so that in the second half of the week temperatures will go up to + 08ºC during the day and up to + 03ºC, at night. Also, over the next seven days, meteorologists forecast precipitation in different sectors of Moldova, which will be varied and may be in the form of snow, sleet and rains.
Among dangerous meteorological phenomena, greatest dangers in March are strong winds and abundant snowfalls. They are reported on average once in 6 years. There are also possible intensive glazed frost (on average once in 20 years) and strong blizzards (on average once in 40 years).
According to people’s meteorology, if March is dry, it will be thaw in April, and if it is thunder in March, year will be fruitful.
