Moldovan committee for consultations, collective talks convenes into meeting

Chisinau, 05 March /MOLDPRES/ – The National Committee for Consultations and Collective Talks convened in the first meeting of the year on 03 March 2018. The agenda focused on improving legal framework of employment and pensions, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The meeting participants supported a draft law proposed by the Ministry of Healthcare, Labour and Social Protection (MSMPS), including measures to combat unemployment, subsidising employers which offer jobs to people with disabilities, creating jobs in rural areas and those that organise in – work training for trainees and unemployed.
The consultations also covered a number of subjects on granting of elderly pension rights on advantageous terms, provision of pre – school, secondary school and high – school facilities with a sufficient number of teachers, as well as efficiency of the public procurement system.
The National Committee for Consultations and Collective Talks has an advisory role in elaboration of social – economic strategies and policies in Moldova. This is a platform for discussion of government, employers and trade unions, as to harmonise interests of parties.
