More air flights canceled due to dense fog in Moldova

Chisinau, 7 March /MOLDPRES/- More air flights were canceled today due to dense fog on the Chisinau International Airport.
According to the airport information service, due to bad weather conditions, flights to Bucharest, Moscow will take off with a delay of several hours, and the flight to Istanbul was canceled.
At the same time, there are several hours of delays in the landing of two Moscow flights, and the one in Istanbul was canceled.
However, representatives of the Chisinau International Airport noted “it is not known for the time being whether there are other changes in flight schedule.”
The head of the meteorological forecasts centre at the State Hydrometeorological Service, Ghenadie Rosca, said that at present it is not known when the fog will disperse, as today the sky will be cloudy. “Light rain will fall in some areas. At present, visibility is up to 200 meters on 15 per cent of the territory, and up to 500 meters on 70-80 per cent. According to forecasts, there may be fog in the coming days, “Rosca said.
According to meteorologists, the air temperatures of up to +5 degrees at night and +15 degrees during the day are forecast for the next few days.
