Chisinau, 12 March /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Pavel Filip, in the beginning of a today’s cabinet meeting, voiced regret about the announcement of the resignation of Justice Minister Alexandru Tanase and thanked him for the work carried out as cabinet member, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
“I regret this very much, as he is a professional and, on the short period of activity which we have had here at the government, I found out that he can do a lot for the reform of this sector. I thank him for the activity and I am sure that he will be successful in the field he knows very well – all dealing with the justice dimension,” the prime minister said.
At the same time, Pavel Filip noted that he observed the decision by Alexandru Tanase, as this was a way of responding to attacks of denigration against him and of protecting the government from the consequences of these attacks.
