Princess of Thailand thinks Moldova might become attractive tourist destination for her countrymen

Chisinau, 13 March /MOLDPRES/ – Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Tudor Ulianovschi, discussed today with Princess of Thailand, Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, being on a touristic visit to Moldova, possibility of expanding cooperation between Moldova and Thailand, especially in the field of tourism, the MAEIE’s public diplomacy, strategic communication and media interaction service has reported.
In the dialogue, interlocutors told that Thailand has become a more popular tourist destination for Moldovan citizens in recent years, and it is in interest of Moldova and Thailand to implement investment projects that would allow provision of a comprehensive package of quality services. Minister Tudor Ulianovschi said that authorities in Chisinau have attached more importance to tourism development, including by creating a modern infrastructure in Moldova, as to permit attraction of foreign tourists to Moldova.
At her turn, Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn said she was impressed by visited tourist locations and was convinced that by implementing promotional programmes of Moldova in Thailand, Moldova could have become an attractive destination not just for Thai persons, but also for ones from other regional states.
