Monitoring committee considers fourth progress report

Chisinau, 16 March /MOLDPRES/- The monitoring committee of the European Union High Level Advisers' Mission to the Republic of Moldova 2016-2018 programme held a meeting yesterday to consider the fourth progress report for July-December 2017.
According to the government’s communication and protocol department, the progress report has been unanimously approved by the committee members, as the main activities of the programme derive from the previously approved plan and have been carried out within the deadlines. Participants also assessed the current mission work and set priorities for the next period, taking into account expert advice, based on European best practices.
The event was co-chaired by General Secretary of the Government Lilia Palii. Attending the event were members of the supervisory committee, including representatives of the State Chancellery, the EU Delegation to Moldova and one representative of the beneficiary institutions where the High Councilors of the EU operate.
Palii reiterated gratitude for the valuable assistance the EU Delegation provided in implementing the reforms and developing the institutional capacities needed to implement the Association Agreement.
