Chisinau, 16 March /MOLDPRES/ – The Parliament introduced amendments to registration procedure for non – commercial organisations today. The Public Services Agency (ASP) will take over registration after taking over duties held previously by the Ministry of Justice (MJ).
Following the law, ASP is to record periodicals and press agencies, public associations, including their subsidiaries and representations, foundations, subsidiaries and representations of foreign foundations, associations of employers, trade unions, religious cults and their parts. It will also record political parties and mediation organisations.
Simultaneously, MJ retains right to alert non – commercial organisations in event of deviations from statutory provisions, refer the court for suspension or liquidation of non – commercial organisations if activity it performs is contrary to legal provisions.
The MPs also decided to reduce registration deadline of a non – commercial organisation from a period of 30 days to 15 days.
