Foreign minister meets Apostolic Nuncio in Moldova

Chisinau, 19 March /MOLDPRES/ – Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Tudor Ulianovschi, discussed at the meeting with Apostolic Nuncio in Moldova, Miguel Maury Buendia, issues of bilateral co – operation.

According to the MAEIE’s public diplomacy, strategic communication and media interaction service, officials referred to some topical patterns on bilateral agenda, mentioning common interest in developing relations between Moldova and Holy See in more fields of mutual interest, including throughout organising bilateral high – level visits.

The speakers also had an exchange of views on regional and international developments as well as opportunities for cooperation on themes of international agenda.

On 05 December 2015, Pope Francis named Archbishop, Miguel Maury Buendía, Apostolic Nuncio in Romania, and on 25 January 2016 he was named Apostolic Nuncio in Moldova.
