Chisinau, 20 March /MOLDPRES/- Moldova and Bosnia and Herzegovina will cooperate in the European integration sector, according to a declaration signed today in Chisinau by Foreign and European Integration Minister Tudor Ulianovschi and counterpart in Bosnia and Herzegovina Igor Crnadak.
The two officials said that today’s meeting is a positive boost in the development of relations between the two countries.
“Today we had an open dialogue and we decided to work more dynamically in the social, economic, agricultural and cultural spheres. We rely on bilateral cooperation as we have the same interests. Also, we agreed to have a more active economic dialogue by setting up an honorary consulate of Moldova in Bosnia and Herzegovina. I reiterated that the European integration is a priority for our country,” Ulianovschi said.
Igor Crnadak noted that an important goal for the two countries is cooperation between state institutions. “There are currently 25 cooperation contracts that have been already signed. We want to work with the Customs Service and Justice Ministry and share our political and economic experience,” he said.
Igor Crnadak pays an official visit to Moldova on 19-21 March. The agenda includes meetings with the top officials of Moldova and other sectoral institutions.
