National campaign on collective labour contract ensuring rights launched in Moldova

Chisinau, 20 March /MOLDPRES/ – The National Confederation of Trade Unions of Moldova (CNSM) launched today national campaign with generic: The collective labour contract – guarantee of your rights.
"The aim of campaign is to achieve a qualitative and quantitative increase in collective labour agreements and ensure strict compliance with clauses that strengthen protection of Moldova’s employees," said Oleg Budza, head of CNSM, at event launching.
According to Oleg Budza, "throughout these legal acts normative provisions will be adopted guaranteeing a higher level of protection for employees, more favourable terms for employers, increases in public budget revenues and better functioning of state institutions".
Viorica Dumbraveanu, State Secretary at the Ministry of Healthcare, Labour and Social Protection (MSMPS), also said that collective labour contract to be a key element upon strengthening dialogue and social partnership.
According to Leonid Cerescu, chief of National Confederation of Employers of Moldova (CNAM), collective labour contract is foundation of relations of employers and employees, leading to creation of legal employment links, strengthens rights and obligations of parties involved in the process of employment. Cerescu said that by organising campaign of CNSM "social peace will be ensured in enterprises that have concluded collective labour agreements".
The events related to that campaign launch will be held until the end of March, in Balti and Cahul cities.
