Dialogue between local, central public authorities continues

Chisinau, 21 March /MOLDPRES/- Representatives of the State Chancellery and the Congress of Local Authorities held a meeting yesterday, and discussed cooperation between the central and local public authorities. They approached issues on the local public administration reform and the role of civil society in strengthening the country’s development and modernization partnerships, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

The meeting was also used to present two new advisors in the “Mission of EU High-Level Advisers to Moldova 2016-2018” – Victor Giosan, on the local public administration reform, and Ancuta Vamesu – on civil society involvement and responsibility of public authorities. Attending the event was also Gunta Veismane, EU High-Level Adviser on central public administration reform.
