Moldova’s open data access survey launched within campaign: Do you know what does your Government do?

Chisinau, 21 March /MOLDPRES/ – The State Chancellery, Electronic Governance Centre and Youth Development for Innovation Foundation launched yesterday a survey for general public to find out how well population knows and uses open data on portal data.gov.md.

According to the government’s communication and protocol department, based on respondents' answers, themes for organizing an Open Data Hackathon on 03 May 2018 it will be defined: "Let’s Make Governance Open, Accessible, Transparent and Actual". At the event, about one hundred young persons from various fields (start – ups, NGOs, journalists, programmers) will work in teams as to co – create friendly and open – label applications.

The action is part of a national campaign to promote open data: "Do you know what does your Government do?", launched on 03 March 2018. The survey can be accessed: https://goo.gl/qiyuoR.
