Moldovan cabinet nominates the most gifted inventor of 2017

Chisinau, 21 March /MOLDPRES/ - A PhD, university lecturer at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of the Moldovan State University (USM), Victor Covaliov, has been nominated laureate of the government’s prize for the most gifted inventor for 2017. The cabinet of ministers approved a decision to this effect at its meeting today, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
Victor Covaliov will receive a prize worth 10,000 lei, earmarked from the government’s reserve fund, for a cycle of inventions in the ecology sector. The winner was selected by the members of the jury at the 15th issue of the International Specialized Exhibition Infoinvent, staged in Chisinau on 15-18 November 2017.
The exhibition Infoinvent represents a forum of intellectual property and innovation, through which inventors and innovating enterprises have possibility to promote their products and technologies, initiate cooperation agreements and contribute to the development of the market of innovative goods and services.
