Moldovan government to earmark over 57 million lei to restore six education institutions

Chisinau, 21 March /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet of ministers today ruled the renovation of six education institutions: primary schools, gymnasiums and lyceums, subordinated to local public authorities, this year, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

The institutions due to be rehabilitated are the lyceums Lucian Blaga from the Iargara town, southern Leova district, Vasile Parvan from the Gotesti village, southern Cantemir district, Silvian Lucaci lyceum from the Costesti village, northern Rascani district, Mihai Eminescu from the Sipoteni village, central Calarasi district, Mesterul Manole from the Salcuta village, south-eastern Causeni district and the Alexandru cel Bun gymnasium from the Varzaresti village, central Nisporeni district.

About 57 million lei will be allocated for the restoration of these schools in all; the money will be provided within the project, Education Reform in Moldova, carried out with the World Bank’s support.
