Group of young people from Moldova selected for master studies at College of Europe

Chisinau, 21 March /MOLDPRES/ -Representative of the College of Europe, in partnership with the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry, have finished a new round of selection of candidates from Moldova for the master studies during 2018-2019. The selection of national candidates for studies at the College of Europe has been held since 2014, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s public diplomacy, strategic communication and media interaction service has reported.
Research Fellow in the European Neighbourhood Policy Chair at the Natolin campus of the College of Europe, chairman of the selection commission Andriy Tyushka, highlighted, in particular, the advanced level of education of students from Moldova, which represents a potential which should be fully turned to account, including by the employment of graduates of this institution in governmental structures.
The scholarships for the academic years 2018-2019 are provided by the European Commission to countries of the European Neighbourhood Policy. The contest is organized in line with the criteria set by the College of Europe. So far, 115 students from Moldova have studied at the College of Europe, of whom 65 at the Bruges campus from Belgium and 50 ones at the Natolin one.
The College of Europe is a private university, inaugurated in Bruges (Belgium) in 1949 and in Natolin (Warsaw, Poland) in 1992. The College is regarded as the oldest and most prestigious post-graduate institution from the European Union. It trains master students for the public service involved in the carrying out of political, economic, legal and international processes of integration and European studies.
