Moldova to switch to summer time on 25 March

Chisinau, 21 March /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova will switch to the summer time on 25 March, the last Sunday of March, in line with an instruction signed by Prime Minister Pavel Filip.
“In accordance with the proposal by the UN Economic Commission for Europe and concomitantly with the European Union member states, on 25 March 2018, the last Sunday of March, at 2 am, the switch to the summer time will take place on the entire territory of the country, by turning the clocks forward one hour,” the PM’s instruction reads.
More exactly, on the evening of 24 to 25 March 2018, the clocks will be set by one hour forward; therefore, the time 2 am will become 3 am. People say about this change as the night when they sleep by one hour less.
