Exhibition of Moldovan fine artists inaugurated at headquarters of Portuguese parliament

Chisinau, 22 March /MOLDPRES/ - An exhibition titled, Moldovans Paint Portugal, of Moldovan fine artists who settled in Portugal has been inaugurated at the headquarters of the Portuguese parliament, on the occasion of marking the 25th anniversary of the Moldovan-Portuguese diplomatic relations’ establishment, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s public diplomacy, strategic communication and media interaction service has reported.
At the ceremony on the exhibition’s inauguration, the head of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs and Portuguese Communities, Sérgio Sousa Pinto and Moldova’s Ambassador to Portugal Dumitru Socolan said that, during this quarter of century, the Moldovan-Portuguese ties had developed upwards, with an important role to the process of rapprochement between the two countries belonging to the community of Moldovans who settled in Portugal.
The event was organized by Moldova’s Embassy in Portugal, in partnership with the Committee on Foreign Affairs and Portuguese Communities of the Assembly of the Republic (Portuguese parliament). The exhibition will be opened for public till 27 April 2018.
