Moldovan parliament takes note of resignation of CNA deputy head

Chisinau, 23 March /MOLDPRES/- MPs today took note of the resignation request by Vadim Cojocaru from the post of deputy head of the National Anticorruption Centre.
The head of the legal commission on rules and immunities, Raisa Apolschi, made the statement today. She said that Cojocaru mentioned in the application he was leaving the office on his own initiative.
Speaker Andrian Candu said that Cojocaru has been serving as deputy head of CNA since 18 April 2013, and had three weeks until his term expires.
Under the legislation, CNA must have two deputy heads appointed by parliament on the proposal of the CNA director during his term of office.
