Moldovan foreign minister on visit to United Arab Emirates

Chisinau, 26 March /MOLDPRES/- Foreign and European Integration Minister Tudor Ulianovschi pays a working visit to the United Arab Emirates on 26-29 March to approach issues of expanding bilateral relations, the MAEIE’s public diplomacy, strategic communication and media relations service has reported.
The working agenda includes bilateral meetings with Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Economy Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, director-general of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Abu Dhabi, Mohamed Helal Al Muhairi, and other officials of the United Arab Emirates.
The officials will approach issues related to expanding political dialogue between Moldova and the United Arab Emirates, boosting the economic, cultural and legal relations, etc. During the meetings with officials from Abu Dhabi, the agenda of the Moldovan-Emirates business forum will be reviewed.
Diplomatic relations between Moldova and the United Arab Emirates were set on 21 December 1995. The accreditation of the first ambassador of Moldova to the United Arab Emirates took place on 18 March 2003, concurrently in Ankara. The United Arab Emirates manages relations with Moldova through its embassy in Kiev.
