Moldovan premier to have own national symbol

Chisinau, 27 March /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister of Moldova will have his own national symbol, according to a decision published in the Official Journal of Moldova today.

Under the document, the premier’s banner is a national symbol of the country, representing the personalized mark of the premier and his authority as a leader of the government and work of members.

The premier’s banner is a square blue cloth, in the middle is the Moldovan state coat of arms, in the national colors of Moldova – blue-yellow-red-yellow.

Under the decision, citizens will be obliged to observe the banner as any state symbol.

The original banner shall be handed over to the premier by the president of the country on the day of oath by premier. It is made public on the occasion of very solemn official ceremonies.
