Assistance for cold season to increase in Moldova as of 1 November 2018

Chisinau, 18 July /MOLDPRES/ - The disadvantaged families will benefit from an increase in the quantum of the assistance for the cold season of the year. Starting from 1 November 2018, the financial support provided to these families will be 350 lei monthly, up by 35 lei than at present, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The government today approved a draft law to this end to back disadvantaged families, in the context of a rise in prices for energy resources. About 5.5 million lei will be monthly allocated to increase this social benefit.
Over 158,000 families benefitting from assistance for the cold season of the year are recorded in Moldova.
