Traffic conditions on national road to be improved in Moldova

Chisinau, 19 July /MOLDPRES/ – The circulation conditions on G109 Delacau – Bulboaca – R2 national road will be improved. The works began after the Minister of Economy and Infrastructure, Chiril Gaburici, summoned in Anenii Noi the meeting of heads of quarries of national road region G109 and employees of State Road Administration (ASD).

The works began around Speia village by adding masonry asphalt on carriageway. For it, there have been used 250 tonnes of material from nearby pits.

There are to be distributed 350 tons of broken limestone on the road today. Subsequently, there will be carried out equalisation works on M5 segment (road Chisinau – Tiraspol – Odessa) – Telita village, by deposition of about 100 tons of asphalt.

The national road G109 Delacau – Bulboaca – R2 serves inhabitants of villages Delacau, Puhaceni, Serpeni, Speia, Telita Noua and Telita. Previously, it had been determined that it would be repaired on sections so as not to block the movement. According to the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure's information and media communication service, two sectors that are the most damaged will be rehabilitated: 2.5 km near Speia village and 4.2 km in Delacau village.
