National Prize Commission promotes 19 candidates to next stage in Moldova

Chisinau, 19 July /MOLDPRES/ – The National Prize Commission met on Wednesday, 18 July, at the second meeting, chaired by vice-president of Commission, Minister of Education, Culture and Research, Monica Babuc, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

At meeting, Commission members examined the letters of recommendation of contestants submitted within established/announced deadline, and set up expert groups by domains and subdomains.

Thus, there were promoted 19 candidates in the next stage of competition, which would submit files to secretariat of the National Prize Commission, by 01 August 2018, observing provisions of point 21 of National Prize Regulation, approved by Government decision № 504/2018.

The government decides yearly for up to 10 national awards at events dedicated to Independence Day.
