Three projects on setting street illumination in Moldova to be financed from Fund for Energy Efficiency

Chisinau, 19 July /MOLDPRES/ - The administrative board of the Fund for Energy Efficiency (FEE) today approved the financing of three pilot-projects on the setting of street illumination system in the Cantemir and Ocnita towns, as well as in the park from the Nisporeni town, worth about 2.4 million lei.
According to the Economics and Infrastructure Ministry, the Board ruled to finance, with 75 per cent, the cost of the works of thermal isolation of the lyceum building in the Grozesti village, Nisporeni district, worth 3.4 million lei, of the building of the Chisinau-based Neurology and Neurosurgery Institute, worth 5.1 million lei.
At the today’s meeting, Economics and Infrastructure Minister Chiril Gaburici asked to establish deadlines for the projects’ implementation. “Deadlines should be imposed to those who drag the implementation of projects, in order to optimize the work, as well as to save financial resources. Other projects are expected to be carries out, which might benefit from support on behalf of the Fund,” the head of the FEE administrative board, Chiril Gaburici, added.
