Kindergarten made efficient energetically in locality of central district of Moldova

Chisinau, 19 July /MOLDPRES/ – The kindergarten in Harbovat village, Anenii Noi district, was inaugurated today after it was modernised from sources of the National Fund for Regional Development (FNDR). For these works, the Government has allocated MDL 4.5 million.

"One of regional development policy priorities is to increase energy efficiency in public buildings. The amount of MDL 4.5 million was spent on thermal insulation of outside walls of institution building with high-quality materials, changing windows and doors, purchasing and installing a solar water heating system," the Minister of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment, Liviu Volconovici.

The works started in June 2017, and alongside the local public authorities (APL) together with entrepreneur and kindergarten administration had an efficient cooperation, which allowed duly execution of works.

"Through this project we aim to improve access to quality public services and utilities for village population, improve working conditions for employees in institution, and for those attending kindergarten to create better conditions for pleasant maintenance. I hope much to have sustainability in project because all regional development projects have objective of building the future at home," said Liviu Volconovici.

Currently, from the FNDR financial means, there are carried out energy efficiency improvement works at sports boarding school in Grimancauti village, Briceni district, the surgical block of the Orhei district hospital, the Healthcare Centres in Drochia, Edinet, Soldanesti and Cantemir District Hospital.
