Victims of political repressions from Moldova to benefit from higher monthly allocations

Chisinau, 19 July /MOLDPRES/ - Victims of Stalin deportations will benefit from increased monthly allocations up to 500 lei as of 1 September 2018, according to legislative amendments adopted by the parliament in the second reading today.
The document’s goal is to enhance the level of social protection of Stalin deportations’ victims.
The monthly allocations provided to the victims of the political repressions will grow from 100 to 500 lei. As much as 13 million lei will be earmarked from the state budget to this end in 2018.
About 8,000 deported people live in Moldova who receive material assistance worth 1,000 this year, - by 300 lei more than in 2017.
