Another 17 new ambulances distributed to settlements of Moldova

Chisinau, 24 July /MOLDPRES/ - Another 17 new ambulances, out of those 69 ones bought since early 2018, today were brought to pre-hospital emergency medical assistance points.
According to the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry, the ambulances reached the villages of Speia (Anenii Noi), Oniscani (Calarasi), Cainari (Causeni), Dubasarii Vechi (Dubasari), Bujor (Hancesti), Olanesti, Talmaza (Stefan Voda), Zubresti (Straseni), Cornesti, Sculeni (Ungheni), Corjeuti, Larga (Briceni), Cuhuresti, Targul Vertiujeni (Floresti), Zaicani (Rascani), Alexandreni and Coscodeni (Sangerei).
The ministry gave assurances that the medical transport units met all international standards in the field and the medical equipment allowed providing emergency medical aid at the highest level.
State Secretary at the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry, Aliona Serbulenco, has said that the modernization of the emergency medical service was a priority for the health system and the provision with new ambulances nationally would change the quality of the emergency medical services.
The government has recently signed an agreement on loan with the Council of Europe’s Development Bank worth 12 million euros for the purchasing of another 170 ambulances.
