Chisinau, 25 July /MOLDPRES/ - The real estate loans provided by Moldova Agroindbank (MAIB) within the First Home state programme have become more accessible. The leader of the banking market, Moldova Agroindbank, cut the interest rate for the First Home loans from 7.82 per cent to 5.82 per cent, thus offering a yearly effective rate of 6.17 per cent.
Each third credit provided per system within the Programme was offered by MAIB, ensuring the access of 68 young families to dwellings and thus providing them a solid ground to edify their future at home.
The Bank ascertained increased interest in these loans. MAIB estimates that the financial means planned for providing First Home loans in 2018 will be practically fully consumed. Persons interested may appeal to any of those 66 branches of Moldova Agroindbank to get all details on this product.
The First Home state programme was launched in last March and MAIB was the first bank to join this project. The programme is envisaged for people aged between 18 and 45 years, who do not own a dwelling and do not benefit from mortgage loans. The maximum ceiling of the dwelling’s acquisition price is one million lei, the own contribution is at least ten per cent and the loan’s repayment period is up to 25 years.
