Persons with severe disabilities to benefit from social care at home, additional allocations in Moldova

Chisinau, 26 July /MOLDPRES/ - The people with severe disabilities from childhood and the ones with severe disabilities blind, starting from 1 September 2018, will benefit from the service of social care at home and a monthly allocation for care, accompanying and supervision, worth 820 lei. The parliament adopted a draft law worked out to this end in the first and second readings today.  

Under the document, the measure will help improve the quality of life of the persons with severe disabilities.

The allocation for care, accompanying and supervision will represent an additional source of income for beneficiaries, giving them possibility to cover their expenses and fill the care activities.  

A number of 268 persons will benefit from allocations. The spending for providing allocations amount to about 879,000 lei and will be covered from and within the limit of the sum of transfers from the state budget to the state social insurances budget, provided for 2018.
