Chisinau hosts meeting of working groups for fighting criminality, emergency situations

Chisinau, 26 July /MOLDPRES/ - An ordinary meeting of the working group for combating criminality and emergency situations took place at the headquarters of the OSCE Mission in Chisinau today. The delegation on behalf of Chisinau was led by the state secretary in the sector of order and public security, prevention and combating of criminality at the Interior Ministry, manager of the group Dorin Purice.     

According to the Reintegration Policies Bureau, the participants in the meeting continued discussions on the mechanism of interaction in the field of prevention and liquidating the consequences of emergency situations on the two banks of Dniester. The concerned mechanism is to be additionally considered by competent experts and in coordination with the political representatives in the process of negotiations on Transnistrian settlement.    

At the same time, the agenda also included a subject on ensuring the free movement between the two banks of Dniester; the sides expressed willingness to identity viable options to settle difficulties faced in this respect.  

The next meeting of the working group for combating criminality and emergency situations will be held in Tiraspol.
