Chisinau, 27 July /MOLDPRES/ - The wharf-type custom checkpoint from northern Soroca city has ceased working because of an increase in the level of the Dniester river.
The spokesperson for the Customs Service, Cristina Rau, said that, on 26 July, the customs checkpoint Cosauti had stopped working for the same reasons too.
„Till the two checkpoints resume working, people are urged to opt for the road customs checkpoint Otaci,’’ Cristina Rau added.
The Dniester river level increased, after a large quantity of precipitation had been recorded in Moldova and in neighbour countries on the last days.
