Moldovan pupils to be initiate in creative sector, IT to be able to become top employees in companies from Moldova

Chisinau, 27 July /MOLDPRES/ - About 80,000 pupils from all over Moldova will be initiated in creative sectors to learn how to develop their imagination and discover the creative potential. Due to the education project TwentyTu, young people aged between 14 and 19 years will be able to choose to study animation, graphic design and virtual reality.
According to the organizers, at the animation course, the pupils will learn the stages through which animated characters become alive, as well as will cover all stages from an animated character to sound effects. Also, young people will have, in succession, roles of producer, illustrator and animator and the course will develop their imagination, perseverance and attention to details. In the end, the pupils will have to carry out an individual project, in order to prove the knowledge gained.
In the context, the executive director of the National Agency of Companies in the Information Technology and Communications Sector (ATIC) Ana Chirita, said that the “TwentyTu project is aimed at transforming the education in Moldova, offering syllabi adapted to the new requirements on global markets. The courses will be taught in an interactive way and the pupils will be able to cultivate their abilities which will be demanded at the world level next years.”
A study made by the audit company Ernst&Young (2015), within which the cultural and creative industries from all over the world have been analyzed, shows that they generate incomes worth 2,250 billion dollars, i.e. 3 per cent of the world Gross Domestic Product. The sums collected exceed those registered by the world telecommunications industry – 1,570 billion dollars. At the world level, one per cent of the active population is employed in creative sectors, offering 29.5 million jobs. The study also shows that this field has more employees than the automobile industry of the USA, Europe and Japan.
The TwentyTu project will organize extra-school courses in more than ten sectors of the future.
