Over 40 persons intoxicated with food after ceremony in village of Moldovan central district

Chisinau, 30 July /MOLDPRES/ – Over 40 persons have intoxicated after a ceremony which took place in village Lozova, district Straseni.
Asked by agency, Head of Information and Communication Service of the National Public Healthcare Agency, Olesea Croitor, specified that poisoning took place on Thursday, 26 July.
"Today 41 persons have requested healthcare. Thirty seven patients, including two children, addressed the Calarasi District Hospital and four other ones requested medical assistance at hospital Toma Ciorba in Chisinau. Two of four persons were hospitalised, and the other two refused admission," said Croitor.
Also, there were hospitalised 25 persons at Calarasi district hospital, while another 12 ones received medical care at home, being supervised by family doctors. "The condition of patients is average," said Olesea Croitor.
The specialists are investigating the case. The doctors took samples from patients and food to make lab investigations.
