Chisinau, 01 August /MOLDPRES/ – The inhabitants of villages in Dubasari district that have agricultural lands on Tiraspol – Camenca road can process them from today, Prime Minister Pavel Filip announced in the Government meeting. The PM thanked the colleagues which negotiated with Tiraspol administration and managed to restore access to these lots for a period of 20 years, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
In 2018, the Government allocated MDL 16 million compensation to cover losses suffered by landowners, as they could not process them. Previously, the Executive had also offered MDL 45 million in compensation.
"It is good for Government that we have achieved concrete things for our citizens, but also because the sums that we allocate them for the payment of compensations can now be used for other purposes," said PM.
Currently, agricultural lands located on the Tiraspol-Camenca road own over 5,550 persons and total area is 6,500 hectares.
