Chisinau-Odessa train to run daily next week

Chisinau, 2 August /MOLDPRES/- The Chisinau-Odessa-Chisinau train will run daily between 6 August and 23 September. The decision was taken in the context of increasing the number of passengers during the summer.

“In the summer season, the demand for the Chisinau-Odessa train greatly increased. To cope with the large number of passengers, it was decided that the race be operated every day," Economy and Infrastructure Minister Chiril Gaburici said.

The train starts from Chisinau at 06:57 and arrives in Odessa at 10:46. Passenger customs control is carried out at the Railway Station in Chisinau, before embarking on the train, and the procedure is not repeated at the border. According to the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure, ticket prices vary between 142 lei and 185 lei, depending on the class. For children, the cost of the trip is up to 65 lei.

At present, the Chisinau-Odessa-Chisinau train runs only four times a week - from Thursday to Sunday.
