Fine artists from seven countries participate in art symposium in Butuceni

Chisinau, 3 August /MOLDPRES/- Fine artists from seven countries participate in an International Art Symposium "Self-identification through Modern Cultural Dialogue", which takes place on 3-8 August at the "Orheiul Vechi" Museum Complex in Butuceni village, Orhei district.
The head of the ARTELIT Cultural Center of Moldova, Elvira Cemortan-Voloşin, said that a symposium with the same topic was held in Lvov, Ukraine, on 27 July -2 August, attended by Moldovan artists.
The international art symposium will include several activities - painting exhibitions by fine artists from Moldova, Switzerland, Italy, France, the Russian Federation, Romania and Ukraine, an international scientific conference to discuss patrimony conservation issues, book launch, workshops, etc.
Also, a library, an art museum will be opened in Butuceni. The symposium is coordinated by Zenovia Shulha, professor at the National Academy of Fine Arts in Lvov, Ukraine, and Elvira Cemortan-Voloşin, head of the ARTELIT Cultural Center of Moldova.
