Chisinau, 03 August /MOLDPRES/ – Theatre "Geneza Art" opens its 9th season on 09 August at 19:00 with performance "Frumoasa calatorie a ursilor panda" (The beautiful travel of panda bears) by Matei Visniec.
Direction and scenography are signed by Daniela Burlaca. According to the organisers, performance "The beautiful travel of panda bears", narrated by a saxophonist which had a girlfriend in Frankfurt, is a beautiful story about love, life and death.
On Sunday, at 11.00, the "Guguţă" Municipal Theater will feature the "Princess-Frog" by Nina Ghernet.
On Saturday, 04 August, at 13:00, at the International Art Symposium "Autoidentificare prin dialog cultural modern" (The selfidentification throughout modern cultural dialogue), the Art Gallery of the National Philharmonic Serghei Lunchevici will host the exhibition of the Polish artists Dorota and Marek Sak. Also on Saturday, at 15:00, it will be opened exhibition of Polish artists Monica Isabela Costacheva and Alexandr Veresca "Costumul ca simbol al evoluției" (The costume as a symbol of evolution) at the National Museum of Ethnography and Natural History.
At the National Art Museum of Moldova, until 09 September, it is possible to watch itinerant exhibition entitled "Crucea, de la comunitate la comuniune. 100 de cruci la 100 de ani" (The cross, from community to communion. 100 crosses at 100 years), by works of over 40 plastic artists from Romania and Moldova. According to director of institution, Tudor Zbarnea, exhibition presents works of contemporary art with explicit or implicitly religious themes, as well as objects used in religious practice (icons, crosses, religious seals). The same institution hosts, until 26 August, photo exhibition "Revedere" (Revision) by Zaharia Cusnir. Here is also permanent exhibition "Arta Universala" (The universal art) (painting, art, decorative sculpture).
At the National History Museum of Moldova, until 25 September, it is opened exhibition "Patrimoniu salvat" (The rescued patrimony), which includes objects seized over the years by the Moldovan law enforcement authorities, including those detained at various customs posts in Moldova. They feature a wide variety of exhibits: painted wood icons, bronze castings, ornaments of platinum, gold and silver with precious stones, gold coins, ancient coins, decorations, secular and religious silverware, etc. Totally, there were exhibited over 5,000 pieces. Also at the National History Museum of Moldova visitors can admire permanent exhibition "Comorile trecutului" (The treasures of the past), made up of pieces made of gold and silver discovered on the territory of Moldova.
The National Museum of Ethnography and Natural History awaits visitors at permanent exhibition "Natura. Omul. Cultura" (Nature. Man. Culture). The exhibition was carried out in 1988 – 1994, after conception elaborated by group of museums, led by Mihai Ursu and design project, elaborated by Lev Burman. The exhibition has an area of 2,000 m2 and reflects global problem of interaction between Man and Nature upon local experience.
