Writer Zinaida Cenusa would have turned 70 years

Chisinau, 4 August /MOLDPRES/- Novelist and journalist Zinaida Cenusa, winner of several literary awards, wife of departed writer Efim Tarlapan, would have turned 70 years old today.
She was born on 4 August 1948 in the village of Bocşa, Falesti district. In 1971, she graduated from Moldova State University, Faculty of Philology, Journalism Department.
She was editor at the State Committee on Television and Radio-broadcasting (1971-1974), literary editor at "Lumina" Publishing House (1974-1977) and "Literatura artistica" Publishing House (1977-1990), editor-in-chief of “Ago Temporis” Publishing House in Chisinau (1990-1993), head of the State Department for Observing Linguistic Legislation (1993-1994), special inspector at the City Hall of Cluj-Napoca, Romania (1997-2008). Also, she was a member of the Writers Union of Moldova and Romania.
Zinaida Cenusa died on 15 April 2017, in Rome, Italy.
