New X-ray machine for Falesti hospital - solution found by Moldovan government

Chisinau, 7 August /MOLDPRES/- Over 90,000 inhabitants of Falesti district will have access to a digital X-ray machine, which will be purchased for the hospital imaging department, funded by the National Health Insurance Company, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

The government found this solution after on 22 June, when visiting Falesti, the director of the district hospital told Prime Minister Pavel Filip that the device is produced in 1978 and often fails.

Until the completion of procurement procedure of X-ray machine, the Falesti residents will benefit from radiological investigations within the campaign "A doctor for you", recently launched at the initiative of Filip.

Besides this, mixed teams of physicians are moving to areas of the country offering free consultations, as well as dentists, who make checks on children.
