Chisinau, 9 August /MOLDPRES/- The law on data exchange and interoperability will be published in the Official Journal of Moldova on 10 August.

The document will regulate the electronic exchange of data, information resources and the procedure for granting access to registers and databases of national importance for all public entities.

According to the lawmakers, the MConnect data exchange platform, implemented for this purpose by the Electronic Governance Agency, will facilitate real-time electronic data exchange between public administration authorities, enhancing efficiency and quality of public service delivery without requiring data from citizens and businesses in the form of certificates, reports etc.

At the same time, it allows the creation of the necessary framework for optimization and digitization of public services and implementation of single window principle.

So far, about 100 integration projects with the interoperability platform have already been initiated, associated with 35 entities already successfully implementing the real-time electronic data exchange method.

This law and the action plan for the public service modernization reform for 2017-2021 oblige public authorities to exchange data electronically.
