Plane with four people on board landed forcibly on field in Stefan Voda

Chisinau, 13 August /MOLDPRES/- A small aircraft with four passengers on board landed forcibly on a sunflower field on the outskirts of Feşteliţa village, Ştefan Vodă district. No one has suffered.

The head of the Police Inspectorate's Press Service, Mariana Beţivu, said that the incident took place yesterday evening. The plane took off from a winery on the outskirts of Crocmaz village, Stefan Voda district, and was to reach Horesti village, Falesti district. A few minutes after take-off, the aircraft control panel indicated a technical failure. For this reason, the pilot had to land forcibly.

The SOKATA airplane was headed by a citizen of Chisinau, who was also the owner. There were three other Chisinau people on board.

Immediately on-the-spot was the criminal prosecution group. Other circumstances of the incident are to be determined.
