Cleaning in basements of dwelling houses in Chisinau resumed

Chisinau, 14 August /MOLDPRES/- Chisinau city hall announced the resumption of disinsectization in the basements of dwelling houses in the capital.

For a month, the works were not executed due to the reorganization of the Chisinau Public Health Center, the operator which had originally got the contract for the provision of the services of disinsection. Meanwhile, the municipality organized a repeated contest and concluded a contract with another economic operator that will provide these services by the end of the year. The contract value is over one million lei.

Disinfestation activities will be carried out in all housing blocks in Chisinau, including those managed by private managers. Upon completion of the planned works, additional interventions will be made in the dwelling blocks as requested by the inhabitants of Chisinau municipality.

The first stage of cleaning in the basements of the housing blocks in the city, as well as in the rest areas and parks started in early May.
