Moldovan official journal roundup for 17 August

Chisinau, 16 August /MOLDPRES/- The Administrative Code of Moldova and presidential decree on its promulgation will be published in the Official Journal of Moldova on 17 August.

The administrative code is structured in four books dealing with the uniformity of legal solutions and the regulation of legal situations as reported by administrative jurisprudence. The provisions of the document determine the legal status of the participants in the administrative relations, powers of the administrative public authorities and the courts competent to examine administrative litigation, rights and obligations of the participants in the administrative procedure and the administrative contentious procedure.

The Code will enter into force on 1 April 2019. The government, within 6 months of the publication of the document, will work out and submit to the parliament proposals on bringing the legislation in line with the new Code. Administrative procedures initiated before the entry into force will be completed in accordance with the legal provisions until the date of entry into force of the new Code.
