MDL depreciates against main reference currencies

Chisinau, 17 August /MOLDPRES/ – The national currency will depreciate on Monday, 20 August, against the main reference currencies, according to the official exchange rates displayed by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM).
Thus, at beginning of the next week, one euro (EUR) will cost MDL 18,99, and one dollar (USD) will be quoted at MDL 16,68. The euro will be more expensive with MDL 0,08, and dollar – by MDL 0,05.
The Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH) and Romanian leu (RON) will rise on Monday. The last one will appreciate with MDL 0,02, from MDL 04,05, up to MDL 04,07. The hryvnia will add one ban and have an official price of MDL 0,60.
According to BNM's data, Russian rouble (RUB) will cost on Monday, as at the end of current week - MDL 0,24.
