Industrial production prices fell

Chisinau, 18 August /MOLDPRES/-Industrial production prices decreased in July compared to June 2018, and by 0.1% against July 2017, according to data by the National Statistics Bureau (BNS).

Thus, in the manufacturing sector, prices decreased by 0.2% in July compared to the same period last year, and in the extractive industry by 1.5%. However, in the energy sector in July 2018, prices rose by 0.6% compared to July 2017.

According to BNS, compared to December 2017, prices increased by 2.6% in energy-related activities and goods, by 1.4% in the capital goods industry and by 0.4 per cent - in the intermediate goods industry (excluding the energy sector).
