Ceramists, painters from 10 states participate at International Art Camp 2018 in Moldova

Chisinau, 20 August /MOLDPRES/ – The ceramists and painters from Brazil, France, Lithuania, Norway, Holland, Poland, USA, Turkey, Ukraine and Moldova participate in the 4th issue of the Symposium of Cucuteni International Art Camp 2018, held until 25 August near village Ivancea, Orhei district.
The event is organised by ART Studio "Picasso" in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research (MECC).
Interviewed by agency, organiser of the event, Angela Iurcu, mentioned that the purpose of symposium is to promote the culture and image of Moldova beyond its borders. "The visitors are expected every day to watch the work and burning of ceramic things," said Angela Iurcu.
According to the cited source, the mentor of symposium is Lithuanian ceramist, Rytis Konstantinavičius, settled in Poland. He is famous for his work, written in the Guinness Book of Records in 2014, and namely the world's largest ceramic pot, currently in Babimost, Poland.
The works performed during the symposium will be exhibited at Cucuteni Festival: Flacara Maiestriei (The flame of mastery), which will take place on 25 August at Training and Recreation Centre "Moldtelecom" near village Ivancea. Also, there are to be presented works of 20 folk craftsmen.
The first issue of Symposium of Cucuteni International Art Camp was held in 2015.
