Moldovan government approves anticorruption plan for education for 2018 – 2020

Chisinau, 20 August /MOLDPRES/ – The diplomas, certificates and academic titles issued by the higher education institutions of Moldova will be recognised by China. At its turn, Moldova will recognise the study papers issued by China. There was approved an agreement on it today at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Under the Agreement, Moldova and China will set up an Expert Committee (CE) to monitor the implementation of the document's provisions.
Minister of Education, Culture and Research, Monica Babuc, said that the Agreement stipulates the requirements for Moldovan and Chinese citizens to access education in higher education institutions. The divergences in the process of interpreting and implementation of the document are to be resolved amicably by means of consultations or negotiations between Moldova and China.
The Agreement's text contains the description of the higher education system of Moldova and China and the types of diplomas, certificates and academic titles awarded to graduates of a higher education level.
The Agreement was signed in Chisinau on 03 July 2018 and is valid for 5 years.
Moldova and China are currently conducting an exchange programme upon the Cooperation Agreements which were signed previously.
