Energy efficiency works of Orhei hospital completed

Chisinau, 22 August /MOLDPRES/- The project to increase the energy efficiency of the surgical block of Orhei district hospital was completed. A special committee evaluated the works yesterday and found them to be in accordance with the rules.
The works to increase energy efficiency in the medical institution were carried out within a regional development program implemented by Centre Regional Development Agency (ADR Centru).
"Through this project we aim to improve access to quality public services and utilities for people, to improve working conditions for the employees of the institution," State Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment Dorin Andros said.
For his part, ADR Centru director Viorel Jardan said “one of the priorities of regional development policy is to increase energy efficiency in public buildings, and this medical unit has been chosen as a pilot institution."
Within the project, the thermal insulation of the exterior walls, the carpentry replacement, the insulation of the floor to the basement and the technical floor were fully performed at the Orhei Hospital.
The value of the works is about 7.7 million lei, of which 600 thousand lei represent the contribution of the Orhei district council and the rest are financial sources allocated from the National Regional Development Fund.
