Premier visits injured persons of accident in south – eastern district of Moldova

Chisinau, 22 August /MOLDPRES/ – Prime Minister Pavel Filip was interested in condition of injured persons in road accident that occurred on 21 August night in village Popeasca, Stefan Voda district. There were injured 19 people in the accident. Six of them remain hospitalised in the Stefan Voda hospital, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
The PM discussed with patients, which he asked if they were receiving the needed assistance. The hospital director noted that the institution has all medicines, supplies and equipment necessary for treatment of the hospitalised ones.
Out of 06 hospitalised patients, the child who lost both parents in accident remains in serious condition. The Prime Minister asked the Minister of Healthcare, Labour and Social Protection to provide him with the necessary assistance and monitor the condition of patients.
On 21 August night, at around 01:30, a bus of route Chisinau – Zatoka (Ukraine), with 41 passengers aboard, clashed violently with a tractor and a car with three passengers, including a minor. Following impact, there died 03 people and 19 were injured. The circumstances of accident are to be determined by police.
